Are you drawn to social media posts that promise to reveal big truths “the other guys” won’t tell you? You know the ones with catchy headlines like “The top 5 hacks to being the best (insert newest trend here)?” It’s all good – we get caught swiping through those too! They actually helped us realize that we should do an authentic, real deal, what the other brands aren’t telling you blog with tips and tricks directly from our team to yours.

Recently, we launched our brand new FAQ page to help field questions on almost 100 topics! And while that is an awesome source for info, sometimes the best insight comes from behind the scenes stuff we say over and over via emails, phone calls, and panicked DMs with team managers.

So this post is for you — the teams who want the inside scoop and to do things right – no sugar coating. Here are: Things we wish all teams knew before submitting their design form.

1. We’re Fast — But Not Magic

Yes, we’ve rushed orders before.

Yes, we’ll try our best to help you if you’re in a jam.

But we’re a well oiled, high-quality production system over here. Once your proof is approved and payment is in, your order enters a 5–6 week production window. We don’t (and won’t) cut corners — and that’s a good thing.

Start early. Always.

You can tweak details as you go, but time is your friend.

2. Your Logo Matters More Than You Think

The quality of your logo will directly affect how your gear turns out.

Just because it’s a .PDF doesn’t mean it’s vector. And no, dragging a logo from your Facebook page won’t cut it. If you need more info on logos, check out our blog about vectors:

What Is a Vector File and Why Your Curling Team Needs One

If you’re not sure, send us what you’ve got. If it’s not usable, we’ll clean it up for you. You only need to fix it once, and you’ll have a pro file forever.

3. The Form Exists for a Reason

We built our Order Now form to be smooth, smart, and error-proof.

You wouldn’t believe how many issues come from:

  • Spreadsheet formatting problems
  • Player names being copied wrong
  • Jersey numbers repeated by accident
  • Auto-fill choosing the wrong size

Please use our form. It works. And if you need help with it, we’re happy to walk you through.

4. Reorders Are Easy — If We Know Who You Are

Yes, you can reorder next season (for one or multiple new team members)

Yes, we keep your design on file.

Here’s the key: Tell us your team name and contact person from the original order. Otherwise we’ll be digging through thousands of past orders and there’s a good chance SMITH has ordered more than once.

Pro Tip: You can submit a reorder using the Order Now form we just raved about above. Simply note in the Order Comments section in Step 1 the old team name, docket #, and who the contact would have been if different than yourself.

5. Payment Is Simple — But Final

Our forms of payment are:

  • E-transfer (preferred)
  • EFT
  • Cheque
  • Credit card

Payment is due before shipping, not after. Production won’t begin until full payment is received.

Once we start production, changes are locked in. Double-check your roster, numbers, and spelling before that invoice gets paid.

6. We’re With You the Whole Way

If something feels off — sizing, design, timelines — reach out early.

We want your team to look sharp and feel confident.

This isn’t just a jersey to us. It’s a chance to help your team feel like a team.

And that’s why we do what we do. The hashtag says it all … #TEAMRUNBACK

TL;DR – Quick Hits Before You Order

✅   Start early. Give yourself 6+ weeks, not 3.

✅   Send a real vector file. JPGs and Word docs don’t cut it.

✅   Use our form, not your own spreadsheet. It saves everyone time (and errors).

✅   Reference your last order when reordering. A DKT#, team name, or photo helps us find your past design fast.

✅   Pay to start production. Approval + payment = we hit go.

✅   Reach out early if you’re stuck. We can fix most things — but only before production starts.
